RSV infection (RSV fusion protein in red) induces clustering of the transmembrane cellular ATP1A1 protein (green, alpha-1 subunit of the Na⁺, K⁺-ATPase complex) on the apical surface of differentiated mucociliary human airway epithelial cells (nuclei in blue and F-actin in cyan).
