closeMore GWA studies with metabolic traits

More GWAS with metabolic traits are starting to get published, confirming the high potential of metabolomics in obtaining a functional understanding of human genetic variation and its link to complex diseases.
In the january issue of this journal, Tanaka et al. present a paper that I very much recommend to be read back-to-back with this paper by Gieger et al.
Tanaka et al., Genome-Wide Association Study of Plasma Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids in the InCHIANTI Study, PLoS Genetics, 5(1): e1000338, 2009.
