Crystal structure of the SV40 T-antigen origin binding domain.
The crystal structure of the origin-binding domain of simian virus T-antigen on DNA shows that the protein domains do not contact one another when bound to the origin. Straight, B-form DNA (orange) has been aligned with the nucleotide bases on the left side of the figure to highlight the DNA deformations in the protein complex (see Meinke et al., e23).
