"Fig3. The Fusarium graminearum FGRRES_16221 receptor and specific receptor sub-domains are important to virulence on wheat. Complementation of the receptor null mutants with the native FGRES_16221 gene restores full virulence. This non-classical receptor physically interacts with intracellular G-proteins. The absence of the receptor dysregulates virulence traits, which amounts to an enhanced wheat defensive response that restricts the progression of infection." Dilks et al.
