M. corti metacestodes maintained in the peritoneal cavity of BALB/c mice were extracted, washed, and labeled with the lectins WGA–Alexa 350 (blue), Isolectin B4–Alexa 546 (red), and an anti–M. corti monoclonal antibody–Alexa 488 (green). This composite was obtained by combining images individually obtained at 400x (see Alvarez et al., e218).
