September 2015

The REWARD/Equator Conference on Increasing value and reducing waste in biomedical research takes place on September 28-30, 2015. A co-sponsor of the Conference, PLOS Medicine is featuring two articles this month on tools to improve research design and reporting: an Essay by David Moher and Douglas Altman on "Four Proposals to Improve the Medical Research Literature", and a Guest Editorial by Cosetta Minelli and Gianluca Baio on how Value of Information analysis can reduce research waste. We also invite interested readers to check back in October for major additions to our Guidelines and Guidance series on research quality and reporting.
