The theme for World TB Day 2015 is "Reach, Treat, Cure Everyone."

Currently, of the estimated 9 million people who develop TB worldwide each year, about one-third are not diagnosed, treated, or tracked by national TB programs.

In a Guest Editorial on World TB Day, Madhukar Pai and Puneet Dewan identify programmatic and policy changes needed to accelerate progress towards the goal of ending TB by 2035.
