TXA-mouthwashes did not reduce periprocedural bleeding but reduced delayed bleeding. However, the the duration of delayed bleeding (how much delay in delayed bleeding?) is not stated. This makes it hard to assess precisely.

Delayed bleeding was defined as oral bleeding events that occurred between day 2 and day 7 after dental extraction. For more details about the design and rationale of this study, we kindly refer to the following paper, in which a table with definitions of oral bleeding events is given.
