Summary of Candida auris as a uropathogen.
From database and literature analysis, this study shows that uropathogenic C. auris isolates are (1) rising as a prevalent source, (2) coinciding with urinary catheter usage, (3) developing multidrug resistances, (4) have high mortality, and (5) have unknown pathogenesis mechanisms.
