Dataset availability

Posted by pbeltrao on 27 Aug 2010 at 21:46 GMT

Given that the central result described in this paper is a phenotypic screen I am surprised that the dataset is not available in supplementary materials. I also could not find a link to the data elsewhere in the paper. I would ask the authors to kindly make available this information.

The data set established in this study includes the data of 136
individual phenotypic tests (largely with multiple data over time) of
4040 transposon mutants. With the aim to facilitate the survey of those
extensive high-dimensional data and to retrieve useful information, we
have employed a computational biologist in the group who will start
first of October 2010 with the construction, maintenance and
administration of a database that will be made publicly available. We
will provide a respective link to this data base via PLoS Pathogens.
