PLOS Medicine has long been committed to highlighting the key role of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in improving health.
In an editorial to coincide with World Water Day, the PLOS Medicine editors discuss the importance of WASH in the global health agenda, highlight some key WASH papers that PLOS Medicine has published over the past few years and and confirm PLOS Medicine's commitment to continuing to publish WASH-related research.
