This figure illustrates how influences the probability of a tone being generated by different sources (as time distance increases, so does the capacity of the source to significantly change its oscillation frequency). It also shows how the CRP prior implements Occam’s Razor by penalizing the probability of a new cluster, and has a “rich gets richer” property by favoring more populated clusters.
