Segmentation algorithm.

(A) The dynamic threshold segmentation algorithm. The algorithm dynamically defines a noise threshold based upon the expected amount of silence in a clip of vocal behavior. Syllables are then returned as continuous vocal behavior separated by noise. (B) The segmentation method from (A) applied to canary syllables.
