Using network structures (left panel) or expression information (middle panel) alone does not resolve the dynamic information. On the other hand, the dynamic information is resolved first by alignments of networks of larger subpopulations and then by merging smaller subpopulations (with unstable network structures) by expression into the aligned clades (right panel).
