Here the foreground corresponds to sequences assigned to node-12 and the background to all other acetylase sequences. The highlighted columns below the red dots correspond to the residues shown in Fig 5B; note that the constraints imposed on these residues (i.e., the heights of the red bars above the dots) are generally higher than the constraints imposed on the other pattern residues.
