This row reduction procedure

Posted by Mathews on 20 Jun 2014 at 16:10 GMT

I have seen and studied article "A Space Efficient Flexible Pivot Selection Approach to Evaluate Determinant and Inverse of a Matrix" .
Actually I Agreed with Samreen. This is not a new procedure. This is row reduction method with out making a pivot element one. More interestingly many errors that not have point out that. All these authors confused in matrices and determinants. They don't know basic knowledge of linear algebra. see e.g page 2 and 3.
They are applying row reduction procedure without making pivot 1 and deleting row/column. They are applying expanding a determinant procedure.
Also, same as in finding a matrix inverse procedure with a fancy name "Dictionary notation"
If it is new then An amendment should be made that procedure may be applicable for finding column reduction method (for finding a determinant).
