In the above-mentioned article, the authors erroneously referred to “Uetzmann L, Burtscher I, Lickert H (2008). A mouse line expressing Foxa2-driven Cre recombinase in node, notochord, floorplate, and endoderm. Genesis46: 515–522.” (Reference #19) for the use of the FOXA2-iCre mice.
The correct mouse line used in this study and to refer to is the FOXA2Cre mouse line presented in the following article published in Genesis in 2007 Dec;45(12):729-36 by Kumar A, Yamaguchi T, Sharma P, Kuehn MR. and entitled “Transgenic mouse lines expressing Cre recombinase specifically in posterior notochord and notochord.”
This article should be cited and appear in the references section as follow:
19. Kumar A, Yamaguchi T, Sharma P, Kuehn MR (2007) Transgenic mouse lines expressing Cre recombinase specifically in posterior notochord and notochord. Genesis 45:729-36.
Authors apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
