Competing Interests
SHC has filed a patent application no. 61/471,837 entitled “Risk Analysis for Disease Development” on April 5, 2011, that relates to automated rare cell analysis in age-related macular degeneration. SHC is founder of Serrata, LLC, currently a virtual start-up company that plans to market diagnostic testing for ocular disease.
