Djawad and Djamila, the horses
A couple of horses living in a shelter of Bni Lmai, Setif province of Algeria. This shelter represents one of the sites where Phlebotomus perniciosus was retrieved. Djawad and Djamila are used to climb the Boutaleb mountains, for the traditional wedding ceremonies and to teach teenagers horse riding. Gherbi et al. (2020)
