Data analysis employed summary measures such as means and medians of quantitative variables and percentages for qualitative variables. To investigate the association between severe vision impairment and posterior segment complications, age, location of retinochoroidal lesion and recurrence during follow-up, the chi-square test was used and P-values <0.05 were considered significant.
