Native PAGE stained with 3 mM L-DOPA (left) showed no active bands for extracts treated with sodium bisulfite from Tenebrio molitor (Ts), Alphitobius diaperinus (As) and Hermetia illucens (Hs). A similar gel was stained with Coomassie (right).
