Reviewer #1: This study examined the physical activity levels of adults in South Korea and whether domain-specific physical activity is associated with self-rated health. The study has scientific relevance. Below are my comments.

1. In my opinion, the author should clearly indicate that the study was among adults in South Korea – in the title and throughout the article.

2. Statistical Analysis: The author should provide information on whether the data met the assumptions of the multivariate analysis. The results of diagnostics tests for this purpose should be added to the analysis section.

3. In my opinion, the Discussion should offer more insight into the explanations and implications of the findings. This should be done in the context of past research with appropriate citations.

a. Why is it that South Korea ranks high for insufficient physical activity among adults compared to other countries?

b. Why is it that over 90% of Koreans do not undertake OPA?

c. Are there any Korea-specific factors that explain the associations of OPA with self-rated health?

d. Why do South Koreans accumulate physical activity primarily through transportation? And why is this the case mostly among women, the elderly, and those with insufficient physical activity?

e. Why is it that only a small proportion of South Koreans meet the physical activity guidelines with LTPA?

Reviewer #2: The manuscript addresses an important and relevant public health topic and provides valuable insight into domain-specific physical activity patterns among South Korean adults. Overall, the study is well organized and the methodology appears appropriate. However, several sections would benefit from additional clarification, improved wording, and a clearer structure, particularly within the Methods and Results sections. Minor revisions regarding terminology consistency, definitions, and formatting are also recommended. I did not identify concerns regarding research ethics, publication ethics, or dual publication.

This manuscript offers an epidemiological analysis of specific physical activity (PA) patterns in South Korean adults and their subsequent associations with self-reported health (SRH). The methodology leverages a robust national database (KNHANES 2016-2021) with an enviable sample size, using appropriate procedures for designing complex surveys.

Review Assessment:

In this revised version (R 1), the author has thoroughly and successfully addressed all comments from previous reviewers.

Specifically:

The study population has been clearly clarified as "South Korean adults" throughout the manuscript (Title, Abstract, Methods, and Discussion).

The Statistical Analysis section was accurately expanded to justify the logistic regression approach. Modeling all explanatory variables as categorical variables correctly addresses the inapplicability of linearity assumptions in logit regression. Further verification of multicollinearity with Variance Inflation Factors (VIF) < 5 ensures the structural robustness of the multivariate adjustments.

The Discussion has been significantly enriched with valuable contextual explanations regarding the social, occupational, and architectural landscape of South Korea, which help explain the exceptionally low levels of occupational physical activity (OPA) and the predominance of transportation physical activity (TPA).

Data availability and ethics:
