Reviewer #1: The authors have presented an intriguing study titled "Navigating the Path to Environmental Sustainability: Insights from CIVETS on the Intersection of ICT Diffusion, Natural Resources, and Green Technological Innovation." The manuscript is well-structured and robust. I would like to offer a few suggestions to enhance the quality of the manuscript further.

1. The abstract's quality does not meet the expected standard and requires enhancement to achieve scientific writing excellence.

2. The literature review section offers a thorough overview of pertinent research on the topic, enhancing the narrative format by adopting a more comparative approach would be beneficial. This involves recognizing patterns, commonalities, and distinctions among the studies analyzed in the review.

3. The methodology delineates data sources but lacks a clear depiction of variables measurement. Enhancing transparency and reproducibility of the overall dataset would be achieved by providing more detailed information on data sources and variable measurements.

4. Estimation strategies section: The estimation techniques of the panel unit root and cointegration is not sufficiently described

5. The manuscript lacks discussion on limitations and future research directions.

6. Lastly, the manuscript contains numerous short and insignificant sentences, which may impact its overall quality. Please revise it thoroughly to enhance its coherence and substance.

Reviewer #2: The topic discussed in this paper is interesting and important.

The choice of CIVETS countries is a good one since this group of countries shared some characteristics that are important for the goal defined in this paper.

The literature review is well structured and cover the critical necessary topics.

In overall terms, my opinion about this paper is positive, and I believe the paper can be considered for publication.

I have however some minor concerns that must be addressed, namely:

- I don't understand the reason for the inclusion of the hypotheses in the introduction. They should be presented after the literature review.

- The interpretation of the results puts the focus on the econometric results, but in some cases a more economic approach could be useful.

- the policy implications derived in the final section could be stronger. I suggest a revision of this section and specifically of its final part.
