Reviewer #1: The framework of the whole article is not clear, and the article needs to be reflected in the first or second part. Also, the research is too simple, only saw the article added research on land factor prices, other innovations are not seen, and there is no theoretical framework to support, the empirical model is also too simple and lack of persuasive.

1. Introduction

Introduction content is less, most of the description of China's economic growth reasons, did not analyze the research background of the factor market, only in the last part of the introduction to excessive cited the factor market price of the research is not sufficient, it is recommended to increase the introduction of the relevant background content and the need for factor market price research.

2. Literature review

Literature is too old, and relevant literature should be added within the last five years. Only scholars' studies have been elaborated, so how does this paper's study differ from previous scholars and what is the innovation of this paper? Please add relevant content.

3. Model setting

The empirical model is set up with only three core explanatory variables, should other factors affecting output be considered as control variables, otherwise the model results are not convincing.

4. Calculation and Analysis of Factor Price Distortion

The data examined in the article is from 2000 to 2019, why are the data presented in tables 4 to 7 only from 2000 to 2009? Please provide an explanation of this.

Whether the conclusions reached by the article using the fixed effects model are supported by relevant literature, only the measurement results are analyzed without discussion of the results, or a discussion section should be added to further explain the results reached.

Reviewer #2: 1. This paper provides a detailed empirical analysis of factor price distortion in China. While examining this topic is interesting, the paper suffers from several shortcomings:

- It lacks theoretical or methodological innovation. The measures and logic of price factor distortion are applied directly from existing theories, without explaining the unique contribution of this study. Given the extensive prior research on price distortions, the author should clarify what new insights this work provides.

- The analysis employs standard techniques without advancing methodology. The author could detail why the empirical findings are important, especially for readers already familiar with the concepts.

- There is little contextualization within the large body of related studies on price distortions over past decades. The paper needs to identify its distinct perspective relative to previous work.

2. While price distortions are important to industrial economists, the highly technical presentation makes findings inaccessible to a wider audience. The author could expand the discussion to explain the implications of the identified distortions and why they matter, given similar findings in prior China research.

3. The empirical results require more careful interpretation and explanation. Relying on mainstream narratives to interpret the statistical findings is unsatisfying. The author should provide more original and insightful analysis of what the results mean.

Additionally, all figures are missing, making it impossible to evaluate major results. These need to be included.

Reviewer #3: The innovation of this paper's research is insufficient, the research methods still need to be improved, the data reliability is insufficient, the organization of literature is not enough, and the policy suggestions are insufficient. The research framework is not comprehensive enough to explain the fundamental causes of factor price distortion and its impact on economic development, nor can this paper explain the theoretical and practical significance of the research.

Reviewer #1: 1. Although the theoretical analysis is added, all of them are listing how other scholars analyze it, what I would like to see is what theoretical model is used in this article, which is the question that the author needs to answer.

2. Reference formatting needs to be adjusted, e.g., references [12], [15], [25], etc.

3. The author only tells how the model is calculated and gives no explanation as to why the control variables are not used, which is not convincing.

4.Regarding whether the empirical results are supported by the literature, my question is not to dwell on the use of estimation methods, but rather whether there is similar literature that also obtains the same regression results using fixed effects models. If there is, then your results are supported by the literature, please include similar discussions in the analysis of the results (e.g., consistent with the results of a scholar's study, etc.) so that the results are convincing. But the authors don't seem to be clear about my question and instead tell me which scholarly study also used a fixed effects model.
