Through generalized additive model, we discovered a non-linear association between BRI and albuminuria. The red line in the model represents a smooth curve fit, and its 95% confidence interval is indicated by the blue line. And age, sex, race, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, as well as laboratory tests including ALT, AST, glycated hemoglobin, estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), low–density lipoprotein cholesterol, high–density lipoprotein cholesterol, total cholesterol, and C-reactive protein were adjusted.
