Two triadic and polyadic conditions.

The top left panel shows the triadic, congruent condition, and the top right shows the triadic, incongruent condition. The bottom left panel shows the polyadic, congruent condition, and the bottom right panel shows the incongruent condition. In the polyadic condition, the two face stimuli were presented side-by-side in the middle of the display, and we randomized the positions of eyes-opened face and closed faces.
