The species tree was inferred from partial COI, EF-1α and 18S gene sequences and is colour-coded by family (see insert). Aotearoa New Zealand native (mostly endemic) lineages are indicated with black squares on branches, and host plant families are provided in the grey box. Posterior probability values at the nodes are color coded (see insert). Names of undescribed taxa follow previous works [36,40].
