Percentage of each Bemisia tabaci species (MEAM1 or MED-Q2) collected at the first, second and third breakdowns on pepper or watermelon in the mixed treatment of the competitive displacement trial.
Each cage was inoculated with six males and six females of each species. Numbers in the white boxes at the top of each column represent the total whitefly individuals (MEAM1 + MED-Q2) recovered in the four replicates by the end of the trial for each treatment.
