Study flow.

We identified 96 patients over 18-years-old with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pneumonia in our intensive care unit (ICU); 26 patients did not receive invasive ventilation, and 2 patients who underwent veno-venous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation in a referring hospital were excluded. A total of 68 patients were included in the analysis, with 18 in the pre-introduction group and 50 in the post-introduction group.
