(A) There were no significant differences between the control group, the volume 8 group, the volume 12 group, the volume 16 group and the volume 20 group before brisk walking. Volume = frequency x duration, which was calculated according to the self-reported Physical Activity Index questionnaire. The subjects whose volume was ≈ 8 were assigned to the volume 8 group and so forth. (B) Compared with the control group, significant differences were observed in the volume 16 group and the volume 20 group. *P<0.05; **P<0.01.
