Receiver operating curves for prediction of age and volume as diagnostic suitable variables for vascular malformations. Patients with vascular malformations were younger. The ROC curve for age yielded an AUC value of 0.7 (95%CI = 0.69;.079), p < .0001; p = 0.001) with a cut off value of 55.5 years. The ROC curve for volume yielded an AUC value of 0.8 (95%CI 0.53 [0.4;0.7]; p = 0.001) with a cut off value of 35.6 cm3. ROC = Receiver Operating Characteristic.
