(A) In the 0° heterogeneity condition, all distractor lines were identical. In the 12°, 24° and 36° heterogeneity condition, orientation of each distractor varied randomly within 12°, 24°, or 36°. Target orientation was always in 69° contrast to average distractor orientation. (B) Mean accuracy for each of the four distractor orientations. (C) Lateralized ERP.
