(A) Example of SAIF curve which is very similar to the blood reference curve (m17464). This SAIF is representative of the majority of the curves obtained in this study. There is however a significant number of AIF curves whose shape is incorrectly estimated by SAIF. (B) Example of AIF curve whose shape is incorrectly estimated by SAIF (m10911). One of the possible reasons is the difficulty of obtaining a reproducible bolus in the small tail vessels of mice. The insets magnify the first 10 minutes of the input functions.
