Relative muscle weight was measured 14 days after surgery, whereas levels of rRNA and phosphorylated p70S6K were measured 5 days after surgery (see Figs 4A and 5B). rRNA content is expressed relative to that in WK_NL. Mean ± SEM values are plotted.
