The white circle represents the circumference of the patch. A positive reaction (++) according to the ICDRG scoring system was observed for chloral hydrate (15, 10 and 5% in olive oil) and trichloroethanol (5% in olive oil). A weak positive reaction (+) was observed for TCE (50%), trichloroethanol (0.5 and 0.05% in olive oil) and trichloroacetic acid (5% in physiological saline). The reactions for TCE at each concentration (25, 10 and 5% in olive oil) and controls were negative.
