Cluster analysis of Pulsed-field Gel Electrophoresis (PFGE) SmaI macrorestriction fragments of the 30 Enterococcus faecium strains followed by multilocus sequence typing (MLST) data.
MLST was inferred in those strains that were marked with an asterisk. For dendrogram construction, optimization and band position tolerance were set at 0.5% and 1.0% respectively. The cut-off value to define the PFGE patterns was set at 80% similarity.
