The exercise of determining the degree of agreement (i.e. correlation) between the P450 and the EC50 ranking systems was replicated 10,000 times to measure the variation in correlation estimates. The figure shows how the vast majority of the replicate correlation coefficients are positive, and it enables visualisation of both the value upon which the correlation coefficients are centred and the extent of their spread.
