Italian resident men and women aged 35–74 years, the CUORE Project Surveys 1998–2002, 2008–2012, and 2018–2019. Prevalence were age-standardized using the National Institute of Statistics-ISTAT Italian population 2000, 2010, and 2019, respectively. Obesity: body mass index ≥ 30.0 kg/m2. Involved Italian regions: Piedmont, Lombardy, Liguria, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Lazio, Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, and Sicily.
