Limit of detection (LOD) of the individual SMB and DLP assays on sputum spiked with M. bovis BCG CFU.

Both SMB and DLP assays were performed on DNA isolated from sputum spiked with a serial dilution of M. bovis BCG CFU as indicated. Assay success rates for individual probes and the entire assay over the dynamic range of spiked CFU/ml are shown.
