Expression and characterization of recombinant human nSMase2.

(C) Modulation of enzymatic activity by known nSMase inhibitors (GW4869 and altenusin) and by a prototype aSMase specific inhibitor (zoledronic acid). Concentration of GW4869 is a nominal concentration based on dilutions from the stock solution; due to the low aqueous solubility of GW4869, the actual concentration is likely lower than 150 μM.
