No differences between preformed donor-specific T-cell alloreactive responses and incidence of all types of BPAR were observed. Nevertheless, kidney transplant patients developing early TCMR (< 2 months after transplantation) showed significantly higher preformed donor-specific T-cell sensitization than those that did not (10/37;27% vs 5/53;9.4%, p = 0.028).
