Impact of Inhomogeneous Static Magnetic Field (31.7–232.0 mT) Exposure on Human Neuroblastoma SH-SY5Y Cells during Cisplatin Administration
Figure 5
Western blot of caspase-3 of SH-SY5Y cells.
Cells were exposed for 2, 4 or 24 h to different treatments: no treatment (−SMF/−cisPt), 0.1 µM cisplatin (cisPt) (−SMF/+cisPt), Static Magnetic Field (SMF)-exposure (+SMF/−cisPt) or SMF-exposure plus 0.1 µM cisPt (+SMF/+cisPt). The values are reported as percentage of the control untreated cells considered as 100%. Single star indicates a value significantly different from untreated control cells at the same time point (p<0.0083). Two stars indicates a value significantly different either from cisPt-treated or from untreated control cells at the same time point (p<0.0083). Each value represents the mean ± SE of six independent experiments, each done in duplicate.
