closeLaunching date of Hypotheses

The authors write that Hypotheses was launched in 2004. You could argue between 2009 -- which the founders claim on <http://cleo.openedition.o... and 2008 -- which my own records show, but 2004 is definitely off the mark.

Thanks for getting in touch and for pointing this issue out to us. We agree that based on the (well-hidden) timeline on the openedition.org website and the post data, Hypotheses was launched in 2008/2009, though there seems to have been some activity before, perhaps because of pre-public testing. The 2004 date is the result of incorrectly dated posts in our dataset, which purported that the oldest posts were written in that year. Sorry.
