After reading this article, I should say I'm rather disappointed by PLOS ONE. The results in the article tend to make readers think the authors have made significant discoveries. However, from their use of such data processing methods as ICA and Granger causality, etc., I think most their results given are unconvincing. For example, I don't believe the order of MVAR model would be the same for every subject. There are other seemingly correct but fake statements in the article. I suggest everybody reading this article should be highly careful about the conclusions made in it.
