Figure 2 in the article 'The mean variances of bacterial taxa are lower in homogenized subsamples compared to non-homogenized stool subsamples' appears to show the data for figure 3 'Stool storage at room temperature alters the abundance of bacterial taxa' and the data for fig 3 is shown as fig 4 and this appears to continue until fig 6 which show's the data for fig 2.

Hi Andrew;
You are absolutely right. The figures got shifted out of order as you have indicated. While I love the open access I do not like that we skip the proofs stage of the editorial process and clearly errors can occur. I have asked the production editor to change this.
