The legend for Fig 1B of this article says, "Values are represented as +/- SD." The authors clarified that the data in this figure represent means (n=3), and that standard deviations were not plotted on the graph due to their low values.
In addition, the image reported in Fig 1A of this article was also included in error in a second article that was published in a 2018 Drug Delivery and Translational Research article (Figure 1A, "Hyaluronic acid-grafted PLGA nanoparticles for the sustained delivery of berberine chloride for an efficient suppression of Ehrlich ascites tumors," https://link.springer.com...). The authors clarified that the data are correctly reported in the PLOS ONE article, and this matter is being addressed by the other journal.
In response to journal queries, the authors have not commented on the availability of underlying data supporting the results in this article.
