This rigorous systematic review and network meta-analysis provided a distinguished and recent evidence-base that should be utilized and cited in all relevant projects for development, adaptation, and critical appraisal of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines for acute gastroenteritis in children. Despite the modern global healthcare improvements and reform, this high priority health topic remains as a significant preventable disease and cause of death in this age group.
