In follow-up to this article's 2022 Correction, we provide two additional updates:
1. The Comment posted on this article by PLOS ONE on November 17, 2014 included the statement, "The corresponding author of the article Baogang Peng contacted the editorial office to note that the data reported in Figure 8 reporting that overexpression of Numb in HCC cell lines promotes colony formation, appear to be irreproducible." (See https://journals.plos.org...) In follow-up discussions, the authors clarified that they identified an incubator temperature issue had affected the outcomes of attempted replication experiments. The authors stated that when the incubator issue was resolved they were able to replicate the Figure 8 results.
2. The sequences of primers used to amplify GAPDH in RT-PCR experiments were not reported in the article. The sequences are provided here
