Infectious dose unclear

Figure 4a shows slight body weight decrease after 6 days for mice infected with wild type PR8. In contrast, Figure 6 shows that mice infected with 10^7 pfu of wild type PR8 lose more weight and die within four days. Was a lower dose used to infect the mice in Figure 4?
