getNOAA.bathy() is temporarily down as the url used to fetch the ETOPO1 data was recently changed by the NOAA. We have corrected the function, which you can download here: https://github.com/ericpa.... You can also install version 0.8 of marmap from github (see http://epante.wordpress.c... and http://github.com/ericpan...). Version 0.8 will soon be on CRAN.
